What the free plan covers
- A monthly allowance of AI generations.
- One generation is one request rather than one deck, so turning a single lecture upload into flashcards, a summary and a quiz draws on the allowance three times. That is enough to put a real module through it and see whether the cards match what your exam actually asks.
- Studying is not metered. Once a deck exists you can review it as often as you like, for as long as you like, without paying. Chatting with Max, the AI tutor, is unlimited on the free plan too: no message cap, no daily limit.
What Premium adds
- The cap on generating comes off, and three things open up that the free plan does not have.
- Podcasts, which are Premium only and come with their own monthly allowance of episodes.
- Mock exams, the course-level ones that are timed, graded, and can be modelled on a past paper you upload.
- Study groups without the limit on how many you can join.
What Premium does not change
The output. A free account and a Premium account generate from the same material in the same way, so if the cards are not good on your lecture PDF, paying will not fix that. Try it on your own material first, which is what the free allowance is for.
The free plan is also not a trial. Nothing expires, no countdown runs, and decks you have already made stay yours whether you ever pay or not.
What it costs
Prices depend on the country you are in and are shown in your own currency before you pay. Whatever the checkout shows is what gets charged.
You can pay monthly or commit to a longer stretch. The longer plans work out cheaper per month, which is worth doing the sums on if you are covering a full semester rather than one exam.
Prices in the App Store and on Google Play can differ from the ones on the web.
Cancelling
Settings, then Subscriptions. Cancel whenever you want. Premium runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. No email, no support ticket, no call from someone trying to talk you out of it.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings instead, because that is where the payment lives.
Discounts
Promo codes go in at checkout. If a friend signs up with your referral link, you both get bonus AI generations, and those stay in your account rather than resetting at the end of the month.
