What the free plan covers
Everything you have already made is yours to study. Flashcards and quizzes built from your own upload, the summaries and mind maps that come with them, and the spaced repetition that schedules your reviews: none of that is metered. Once a deck exists you can go through it as often as you want, for as long as you want.
Max is on the free plan too, with no message cap and no daily limit. Ask about anything in your decks and courses and you get an answer with the source it came from. Ask him in the chat for cards, a quiz, a summary or a mind map, and he builds it on the free plan as well.
What Premium adds
Premium lifts the monthly cap, so you generate as much as the material in front of you needs.
Three things open up that the free plan does not have at all. Mock exams, which cover the whole course, are timed and graded, and can be modelled on your own old exams. Podcasts, two voices discussing your material, with their own monthly allowance of episodes. And study groups without the limit on how many of them you can join.

What Premium does not change
The output. A free account and a Premium account generate from the same upload in the same way, so the cards you get on the free plan are the cards Premium would give you. Try it on your own material first, which is what the free allowance is for.
The free plan is also not a trial in disguise. Nothing expires, no countdown runs, and what you have built stays in your account whether you ever pay or not.

Cancelling
Cancel in your settings, under subscriptions, whenever you want. Premium keeps running to the end of the period you have already paid for and stops there.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings instead, because that is where the payment lives.
Discounts
Promo codes go in at checkout. Referrals give bonus AI generations: if a friend signs up with your link, you both get them, and they sit on top of the monthly allowance rather than resetting with it. They are used once the regular allowance runs out, and if your friend later subscribes to Premium, you get more on top.
