# Quickstart

> Create your Studyflash account, upload your first study material, and start studying in a few minutes.

Getting started with Studyflash takes a few minutes. By the end of this guide you have a free account, a deck built from your own material, and AI-generated study content ready to go.

**1. Sign up**

Go to [studyflash.com](https://studyflash.com) and click **Sign up**. Use your email address,
Google, or Apple.

**2. Complete the onboarding**

Max walks you through a short onboarding: pick your language, tell it a bit about your studies,
and upload your first material. Your first deck is created right here, so you land in the app
with study content ready.

**3. Start studying**

Open the **Flashcards** tab in your deck for a spaced repetition session, or switch to **Quiz**
to test yourself. Rate each card as you go; Max uses your answers to schedule the next review at
the right moment.

**4. Add more material**

In your deck, select **Upload** or drag and drop to add a file (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, JPEG, and PNG).
Alternatively, you can also record your class or paste/type any text directly into the input
field.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The **Free plan** includes a monthly allowance of AI generation credits. Flashcard reviews and
> quiz attempts are always unlimited. Upgrade to Premium from **Settings → Subscriptions** for more.

> [!TIP]
>
> No material at hand? Click **Try sample** on the home page to explore Studyflash with a pre-built
> deck.
