# Notifications

> Set up study reminders, streak alerts, and other notifications in the Studyflash mobile app.

Notifications keep your study habit on track without being intrusive:

| Notification | What it tells you |
| - | - |
| **Daily study reminder** | A nudge at your chosen time to start studying |
| **Streak at risk** | You have not studied today and your streak is about to break |
| **Generation complete** | Your flashcards, quiz, or summary finished generating |
| **Study group activity** | Someone in your group shared material |
| **Support replies** | The support team answered your message |

## Enabling and managing them

Allow notifications when the app asks during onboarding. If you skipped that, enable them in your phone's settings (**Settings → Studyflash → Notifications** on iOS, **Settings → Apps → Studyflash → Notifications** on Android).

Then fine-tune under **Profile → Notification Settings**: toggle each type individually and pick your daily reminder time, with separate times for weekdays and weekends if you like.

> [!TIP]
>
> Set the reminder 30 minutes before you usually study, and keep **Streak at risk** on: it is the
> most effective nudge for building a daily habit.
