# Quiz duels

> Host or join a real-time multiplayer quiz duel in Studyflash. Compete on any topic or deck with a live leaderboard.

Quiz duels turn studying into a live multiplayer competition: everyone answers the same timed questions at the same moment, with a live leaderboard through to the final question.

## Hosting a duel

**1. Set it up**

Click **Quiz Duel** in the navigation (or **Start Duel** on a deck). Pick a deck or course from
your library, or just type any topic and questions are generated on the fly. Adjust question
count and time per question if you like.

**2. Invite players**

Share the QR code or invite link from the lobby. Guests join with just a display name, no
account needed.

**3. Start**

Click **Start Game** when everyone is in. Players can only join while the game is in the lobby.

## Scoring

One point per correct answer. Speed does not add points, but breaks ties. After each question you see the correct answer and the standings; at the end, the final leaderboard crowns the winner.

Questions mix single choice, multiple choice, true/false, and fill in the blank.
